nurturing and compassionate postpartum care

Katie Jarratt Certified Postpartum Doula, RN

Every new mother deserves a strong support system to navigate the transitions of postpartum life. It’s not only the new baby who needs nurturing, but also the mother and entire family. As a mother of two, postpartum doula, and former mother/baby RN, I know how overwhelming those first few postpartum weeks can be. I’ve been there and truly understand the needs of new parents during this tender and vulnerable time.

If you’re feeling overwhelmed about adjusting to life with a newborn—whether your baby has already arrived or is on the way—a postpartum doula may be exactly the support you need. I offer in-home services that include postpartum recovery assistance, breast and bottle-feeding support, newborn care and education, rest for parents, emotional support, meal preparation, laundry, and more.

I am based in Duluth and have been working as a postpartum doula for four years, following a career as a mother/baby RN. My own journey as a mother and my nursing career made me acutely aware of the need for extended support during the postpartum period, leading me to specialize in this nurturing role.

I would love to arrange a no-obligation Zoom call to discuss your needs, outline the services I offer, and answer any questions you may have. Please fill out the form below, and I will reach out to you soon!
